Filippov Yuriy

Yuri Filippov (1927-2012) - Honored Art Worker of Russia, professor, member of the International Association of Fine Arts AIAP (UNESCO).

The artist worked in the field of genre painting, portrait and landscape, continuing and developing the best traditions of the Russian realistic school. He created more than 1000 paintings and graphic works exhibited at the exhibitions "Modern Soviet Art" in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Canada, USA, etc.

A bright and memorable event in the artist's creative life was his personal exhibitions in France (Paris, Arras, Saint-Aman, Marc-en-Barel) and Belgium (Brussels) in 1996-1997. The guest book is full of warm words of admiration and gratitude for the beautiful Russian landscapes, the Volga, Zhiguli, winter landscapes.

Filippov's works are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Ingo Rogatz Gallery in Munich, the Russian embassies in France, Turkey, Israel, Indonesia, in private collections and art galleries in Russia and abroad (USA, Canada, France, Germany, England, etc.)
