Evgeny Golubtsov was born in Kazan in 1949 He has graduated the Kazan Art School
(1964-1968).

The works of the artist are exhibited at: State Museum of Fine Arts of Tatarstan Republic; «Tsaritsino» museum (Moscow); Museum of Deventer (Holland), as well as are a part of private collections in Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Russia, USA. Evgeny Golubtsov is a creator with wide range of interests. In 1970s he has organised
a group of designers in Kazan that was executing designer projects all over Tatarstan.

In addition to that, starting from 1989 the artist has incorporated easel painting in his circle of artistic interests. The inspiration of Evgeny’s works, which are still lifes, landscapes and portraits, are usually the topics of antique, medieval and ancient Russian episodes.
