Iva Irina was born in Moscow. She graduated Moscow State Academic Art University of Surikov with a degree of monumental painting.

At present Irina is working on easel and monumental painting, in addition to that she is engaged as an instructor at her own «Antivar» workshop in Moscow. The artist is a permanent participant at Russian and international exhibitions and plain-airs, MMOMA and Russian Academy of Arts projects.

According to Irina, being and artist involves a certain way of thinking and a certain way of living. This attitude shows itself in all ways of life: it influences her surroundings, her own «world» and the process of creating this world, the whole environment. As the artists points out, this approach is not certainly positive or certainly negative, it is just the way it is. Irina’s main principle is artistic honesty towards herself and towards the others.
