Alexey Zimin was born in 1995 in Ulyanovsk.

The artist has had more than 20 exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The first exhibition with paintings by Alexey Zimin was held when the artist was studying in the 10th grade of the gymnasium. His paintings were exhibited at the Aksakov Library, which is located in Ulyanovsk. The exhibition created a real furore among Ulyanovsk citizens of all ages.

The first paintings by Alexey Zimin were influenced by two important aspects: his longstanding commitment to modeling and his conscious involvement in public activities and, in particular, the volunteer movement. The canvases with a cosmic theme (The Nebula, Through the Clouds and The Inhabited Planet) and paintings simultaneously combine elements of abstract expressionism.

Alexey Zimin tirelessly improves his artistic skills and tries new styles and trends in painting. Every 2-4 months the artist organizes exhibitions of his paintings. Not only admirers of his talent, but also many interested people who do not want to stay aside gather to see them.
