Tata (Tatiana) Chvanova (born 1976, Moscow) is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TCHR), a member of the ArtPriority Club of professional artists and the European Art Union (Eurasian Art Union).
Works in such styles as abstract expressionism, tashism, writes exclusively in oil on canvases.

In her youth, Tata visited an art studio (painting section), but at her parents' insistence she continued the family tradition, graduating from the Russian State Academy of Arts (1998) as a rehabilitation specialist, where she worked for more than 20 years. Within her profession she studied psychophysics, human psychosomatics and was fond of Oriental philosophy and Taoist practices.

Interest in painting, which arose in her youth, did not leave Tatiana during her sports and medical career. Without erasing the experience of her main profession, she begins to actively paint since the year of 2016, choosing the style of lyrical abstraction as a reference point. Tata's creative reflection is based on years of experience working in the emotional and psychological spheres of human beings.

In 2018, Tata entered the public art space, taking part in collective projects, including well-known curators Katya Bochevar, Andrei Bartenev and Vasilisa Litvinova (Kabitova), and began holding her first solo exhibitions in private galleries.

The paintings of Tata (Tatiana) Chvanova can be divided into achromatic and color series. The first series presents low reliefs, floral motifs flowing on the surface of the canvas, as well as zoomorphic and anthropomorphic figures made in a profiled position. This stylistic approach reconstructs prehistoric monumental art and finds special expression in Mesozoic, Multas and other paintings of the same kind.

In contrast, a pronounced line of decorative art, which refers to works of decorative and applied art, runs through the entire color series. Bright colors, movable, abrupt strokes, frequent references to the themes of the fusion of the four elements and especially colors attract to the world of human qualities, emotions and feelings. Her paintings convey a positive flow of energies and fill one with a feeling of happiness and joy.

Bright in tone, dynamic in the manner of strokes, the painting attracts the attention of collectors and fans of contemporary art. Several works of the artist are in private collections in Russia and Italy.
