Georgy Karpov (born in 1949, Ufa) is a member of the Bashkir branch of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia - the International Federation of Artists of UNESCO.

Graduated from the Art Department of the Ufa Art College (1977). Participant of republican, regional, Russian, foreign exhibitions since 1978. Member of the art group "Reflection" (1990-1992). In 1999, he designed the book of the modernist poet Sophia Oranskaya "The Royal Way" (Paris, France). The artist's works are in the collections of museums and art galleries, including BGHM them. M.V. Nesterov (Ufa), as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
